This area will be shaped by the Stocktrims Community over time. Being a new site, we have not received a bunch of questions from buyers and sellers as yet so we need to anticipate and generalise for the time being until such time that we have received common questions that we can post answers to in this space.
So our section for the time being would be more appropriately Titled "AQ" for Anticipated Questions !

We're sorry to hear that you're having difficulties with payment.
When purchasing or buying products and services online, PayPal is one of the most commonly used payment gateways used internationally by e-commerce sites to allow customers to pay invoices. PayPal secure payment allows users to pay with their PayPal account balance or direct debit from bank account if registered, or by using credit card such as Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.
Before we go into possible fixes we suggest that you open an account with Paypal. It is free and makes buying on here (and other sites) so much easier. You won't have to type in your credit card details everytime !
However, when users attempt to make a payment by using a credit card without logging into a PayPal account, occasionally PayPal will reject, or decline the credit card with the following error message as in the above image causing frustration:
"The card you entered cannot be used for this payment. Please enter a different credit or debit card number."
The issue is little tricky because the rejection may happen with a credit card which was previously accepted and worked properly, then suddenly stopped working, or even when a user changes or switches to another credit card.
There are many possible causes that can result in credit cards not being accepted and PayPal doesn’t give one specific explanation on how to resolve the problem. However we have scanned the internet and found some possible resolutions. Please review.
Credit Card Is Linked or Associated with a PayPal Account
Many believe a credit card is not accepted by PayPal when using it prior to signing into a PayPal account if that credit card is already linked with a PayPal account. If you’re using a credit card that’s linked or assigned to a PayPal account, try logging into PayPal during the payment process. You can change the source of fund to make the payment after logging in to use your credit card instead of your PayPal balance if preferred.
Cookies Problem
Cookies are files created by websites you've visited to store browsing information, such as your preferences for the website or profile information. Check in your browsers privacy settings and disable cookies and try and process your payment again.
If that fails try using another web browser and/or delete cookies and attempt to pay with the PayPal gateway using your credit card again.
Credit Card Is Previously Used in PayPal Account or Assigned in Closed PayPal Account
PayPal remembers credit card details even when your card may have already been removed from the account. The information is also remembered even if a PayPal account which was linked to the credit card is closed and deleted. In this case, try another credit card or assign the credit card to a PayPal account and pay when logged into your account.
PayPal Limit on Non-Member Credit Card Usage
According to PayPal sources, there is a limit based on the number of times, the amount of the transactions, the type of merchandise being sold that a credit card can be used within the system without having to verify ownership by opening an account. The restriction is for security and fraud protection reasons. There is no workaround to this limitation, but you should be able to use another credit card. If there is problem, try using another email address. Else, register a PayPal account.
Credit Card or Email Address Raises a Flag with the Transaction
Closely linked to reasons above, where some part of the transaction raises a flag on the server that stops the payment. Two possible flags are on the credit card or email address. Try changing either credit card or e-mail address or both when attempting to pay again.
Since credit card payments are handled by PayPal, you may need to contact PayPal's Customer Service to help resolve this matter as Stocktrims doesn't process the payment.
